Thirty years ago, Jack Register, DVM, started his second business, DR REGISTER & ASSOCIATES INC. After years of assisting his veterinary clients with the post fresh issues of dairy cattle he decided to create a product line to assist with the everyday issues of milk fever and ketosis. After many years of practice and research, Doc developed JUMPSTART, our calcium supplement to aid with milk fever. NIA PLUS, a great product to fight ketosis. 

Upon Doc’s passing in 2020, his daughter, Sharon, took over the business and did a great job of keeping her father’s business running flawlessly. Unfortunately, Sharon would pass in 2023.  

In March of 2024, the DR.REGISTER business was purchased by Delbert DeVries, wife Lisa, and daughter Chelsey, who will be the chief operations officer.

After 30 years in the dairy industry, LI-DEL HOLSTEINS, and using the DR. REGISTER products, we felt it would be a good fit for us to buy the company.  We are thrilled with the opportunity to carry on the work that DOC put into such a fine group of products. It is our goal to help other farmers enjoy the benefits we saw and so many others see today with this great product line.
